Deuce Day 2022 at the Petersen Automotive Museum
The Petersen Automotive Museum will celebrate 90 years of the 1932 Ford on June 11 with the first national Hot Rod Day which will feature a new exhibit, “Ford Fever: The Deuce Turns 90.” The exhibit will showcase some of the best and most groundbreaking 1932 Ford hot rods.
That same day will see ZZ Top’s Billy F Gibbons perform at the Deuce Gala who will also receive the Hot Rod Icon Award from the Petersen. Tickets to attend the Deuce Gala are priced at $250 and include the performance by Gibbons along with a live auction, dinner, an open bar, and admission to the annual Deuce Day Cruise-In that will take place the following day, Sunday, June 12.
The Deuce Day Cruise-In will attempt to set a record as the largest gathering of ’32 Fords in Southern California, a feat we witnessed once before at the Petersen when they held one of the earlier Deuce Day Cruise-Ins.
Both the Deuce Gala and the Cruise-In are excellent opportunities to see the best hot rods in the world, both those that are part of the Petersen Automotive Museum’s collection and others that will be driven to the Cruise-In by their owners. No two are the same, so think of this as a full day event with every flavor of custom 1932 Ford you can imagine.
