RM Sotheby's Milan 2025
RM Sotheby’s inaugural Milan auction on May 22 and a stunning array of classic and collector cars were on offer. Along with a Gullwing and a couple Ferraris, RM Sotheby’s sold three Lamborghinis – all from different eras – for more than $1,000,000.
The 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary Edition by Bertone marks a notable advancement in the evolution of this iconic model, often considered its most polished version. Under the supervision of esteemed designer Horacio Pagani, this edition underwent extensive updates that improved both its appearance and performance.
Outwardly, it boasts a distinctive look thanks to redesigned elements such as a new front bumper, sleek rear wing scoops, updated lighting fixtures, an innovative rear bumper, and enhanced ground effects, all contributing to its bold yet refined aesthetic.
Inside, enhancements were made for greater comfort and functionality. The model features standard climate control, power windows, and adjustable seats powered by electricity, significantly enhancing driver convenience. Additional ergonomic improvements include more supportive seating and a revised steering setup, making the vehicle easier to handle. This specific car is equipped with European specifications and comes dressed in a classic Nero exterior paired with luxurious beige interior trim, emphasizing its enduring style and premium finishes.
This performed very well on the auction block, selling above the expected price for a concours-quality example which would usually go for around $850,000. It was very well-sold at €1,130,000.
This car is a rare model, one of just 15 examples of the Reventón Roadster produced, boasting a satin Grigio Reventón exterior and a Grey Alcantara interior. It runs on a naturally aspirated 6.5L V12 engine that generates 660 horsepower, combined with a six-speed “E-Gear” automated manual transmission and four-wheel-drive.
First delivered in Switzerland on July 6, 2010, it has had only two owners and shows 4,102 kilometers on the odometer. The vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 330 km/h. Its interior features three TFT liquid crystal screens designed to mimic aircraft head-up displays.

The 1971 Lamborghini Miura P400 SV, designed by Bertone and identified by chassis number 4946, is an exceedingly rare model with only 150 units created. This specific car features a distinctive “split-sump” lubrication system and includes factory-installed air conditioning, both of which enhance its allure. It was originally shipped to the United States and boasts a Rosso Corsa exterior that pairs elegantly with a Bleu interior. At the Concorso Italiano’s Miura 50th Anniversary celebration during the 2016 Monterey Car Week, this vehicle received the prestigious “Best Lamborghini” award, underscoring its significance in the automotive community.
Under the hood lies the original, matching-numbers 3.9L transverse V12 engine, showcasing the car’s well-preserved condition. The package includes its original documentation, tool roll, spare wheel, and a set of fitted luggage, making it particularly attractive to collectors. Manufactured at the Lamborghini facility on December 4, 1971, this Miura P400 SV exemplifies the peak of design and engineering from its time period.
