Dodge Power Brokers Mile-High Nationals

The 42nd edition of the Dodge Power Brokers Mile-High Nationals at Bandimere Speedway starts tomorrow, July 15 near Denver. The Dodge//SRT and Mopar partnership with the Bandimere Speedway has spanned four decades, from 1989 through 2022 and is the longest active and continuous title sponsorship we know of in the world of motorsports.

This is the first of two major NHRA – National Hot Rod Association – events that will be headlined by Dodge//SRT and Mopar sponsorship this season, the second of which is the Dodge Power Brakes US Nationals that will take place in Indianapolis on Labor Day weekend.

This event makes the halfway point of the NHRA season and is the first of three consecutive week of racing that will also include the Sonoma Nationals in California and the Northwest Nationals near Seattle.

Three NHRA pilots in particular are seeking to win over the weekend. Matt Hagan, the defending winner from last year hopes to take his fourth win of the year for the new Tony Stewart Racing team, while Leah Pruett is hoping to repeat her 2018 victory, in which she went from the top placed qualifier to event winner.

Cruz Pedregon, a two-time Funny Car event winner whose first win took place in 1993, and currently sits in fifth place in the points is seeking his first win of the season. Consistently qualifying in the top half of the ladder this year, Pedregon feels confident going into the event.

Dodge//SRT and Mopar will showcase performance parts and cars in their 4,800 square foot exhibit that will be in the Manufacturer’s Midway. Fans will also be able to find their favorite drivers offering autographs, as well as experience the SRT Demon simulators where they can test their racing skills, and even experience a virtual nitro run in the Funny Car simulator.

The elimination rounds will air on FOX broadcast networks starting at 4 PM ET this Sunday and will also include coverage of the finals. Highlight shows covering the first two days of the event will air on FS1.
