What's My Car Worth?

Keith Martin and Josh Nasar visit the classic car auction circuit and help owners when they ask, β€œWhat’s My Car Worth?” They find American muscle, sports cars and more in Scottsdale, Amelia Island and Fort Lauderdale, with the help of Barrett-Jackson, RM Auctions and Auctions America. They take these cars on the road and bring the viewers along for the ride, finally watching the cars cross the block and the hammer drop at prices from the affordable to seven-figures. Now here's something you won't miss driving down the street! This 1973 Datsun 240Z is up right now on Bring a Trailer, and we rarely see one in this Lime Yellow paint. This example has a numbers-matching engine and five-speed manual, but it does need some work as reported by the owner, particularly on the antenna and interior analog clock. 240Zs average around $25,000 at auction. What's your price guess on this Datsun?

The "Screaming Chicken" decal will always grab the attention of any muscle car fanatic! This 1974 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am SD-455 is being offered at RM Sotheby's Open Roads April auction, where the auction estimate is $60,000-$65,000. This Trans Am is showing just over 77,000 miles, and has an automatic transmission. This makes it less desirable than the 212 examples built with the 455 engine and manual transmission, and the auction estimate is pretty close to the average selling price for the model. We expect this Trans Am to sell for a little under the estimate at $55,000.
