Petersen Automotive Museum Displays Movie Cars
The Petersen Automotive Museum has an exciting new exhibit consisting of famous cars from TV shows and movies. A wide assortment of cars and motorcycles will be on display, including custom creations such as the Ecto-1 and the Batmobile.
This is a continuation of the “Hollywood Dream Machines: Vehicles of Science Fiction and Fantasy” exhibit that was the largest museum exhibition of science fiction vehicles in the world. The new exhibit expands from that specific genre to a wider array of movies and TV series. That said, it will still feature cars from well-known sci-fi movies such as Men in Black and Back to the Future.
The classic DeLorean from Back to the Future that will be on display is the only one that was used in all three Back to the Future movies.
