Retro Motors Collection 30+ Cars on Hagerty Marketplace
The first private collection to be offered for sale via Hagerty Marketplace is set to begin on May 15 and feature more than 30 cars. The collection, called The Retro Motors Collection, is primarily focused on American muscle cars and European sports cars.
A 2020 Chevrolet Corvette with the 3LT trim level and the Z51 suspension package, including the Magnetic Ride Control, performance rear axle ratio, performance cooling system and exhaust is just one of six Corvettes that will be offered by Hagerty Marketplace as part of the collection.
A low mileage 2006 Ford GT with all four options and finished in Centennial White with Blue stripes will include its original Ford GT car cover and window sticker. This might pair nicely with the 1999 Shelby Series 1 that’s equipped with a rare Vortech supercharger from the factory – a $22,000 upgrade. The Series 1 shows less than 2,000 miles and is signed by Carroll Shelby and Tony Stewart.
Other highlights include a 2008 Ferrari F430 Spider in Giallo Modena equipped with a six-speed paddle-shifted F1 transmission and a 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster. The Roadster is finished in AMG Le Mans Red Metallic and is powered by a hand-assembled 6.2 L V8.
These are a small sampling of the cars to be offered for sale on Hagerty Marketplace starting May 15. A selection of cars will open for bidding in a rolling format and will close after five days. More information, including auction listings as they become available, can be found here.
