RM Sotheby’s recently announced that they will be offering the Ron and Sarah Jury Grand National Collection through an online-only sale with no reserve. The collection features 14 cars to win AACA Grand National awards with bidding set to being on October 30.

Each buyer will received a yearlong membership in the Antique Automobile Club of America as well as all applicable awards, allowing the future owners to continue to show their new cars with the hard-fought titles.
Although these aren’t seven-figure cars, they are certainly well into the six-figure range with the highest pre-auction estimate going to the 1970 Chevrolet Nova Yenko Deuce. One of only 175 built, the Yenko Deuce is powered by a 350 cubic inch HO LT1 V8. It’s finished in Cranberry Red which, combined with the as-delivered high-performance configuration from Don Yenko, leads RM Sotheby’s to estimate this will sell for $170,000 – $190,000 when it’s offered with no reserve later this month.
In addition to the Ron and Sarah Jury Grand National Collection, RM Sotheby’s recently announced that they will offer a 1957 Jaguar XKSS at their London auction on November 2, 2024. Essentially a street-going version of the legendary Jaguar D-Type, the XKSS is one of the rarest and most desirable of all classic Jaguars.
The example that will be offered by RM Sotheby’s is one of only two that retained a D-Type competition XKD chassis number. XKD 540 spent much of its early life in Australia before passing through at least two additional owners before it was acquired by the consignor in 2017.
RM Sotheby’s estimates this Jaguar XKSS will sell for £9,000,000 to £11,000,000, or $11,500,000 to $14,400,000 when it crosses the block in London.
