A stunning assortment of meticulously maintained Porsches and related memorabilia brought in a total of $30,505,620 in sales. The memorabilia lots alone sold for more than $1,000,000! Bidders from 35 countries participated in the auction, numbering nearly 1,000 with 55% of them first-time bidders with RM Sotheby’s.

World records were shattered with a 2015 Porsche 918 ‘Weissach’ Spyder selling for nearly $1,000,000 more than the high-end of its pre-auction estimate. It far exceeded the previous record price for this model by nearly $2,000,000 when it sold for $3,937,500.

The 2016 Porsche 911 R set a new record when it sold for $1,105,000. A 2019 Porsche 911 GT2 RS ‘Weissach’ joined in the record-breaking fun selling at $1,006,000, a big jump from the previous record price of $753,000.

The 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Lightweight that captivated so many bidders sold for a very strong $1,875,000. A notable car that did not sell is the 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 3.0, but it is still available to interested parties who should contact a Car Specialist at RM Sotheby’s to learn the asking price.

A remarkable sell-through rate of 99.82% was achieved by the auction company, further solidifying their very strong 2023. The next big sale for RM Sotheby’s is just around the corner, set to close out Sotheby’s Luxury Week on Friday December 8, 2023.
