The star Porsche 993 Turbo entry in this collector car online auction is the ultra-rare 1997 Porsche 911 Turbo WLS1 – one of just 15 French-market examples produced.

WLS1 stands for Werksleistungssteigerung, a factory performance upgrade from Porsche Exclusive. By applying the X50 Power Kit and revised engine management with an additional cooler, Porsche boosted the 3.6L twin-turbocharged flat-six to 424 horsepower – identical output to the 911 GT2.

This specific car adds even more rarity points: sport racing seats, a sunroof delete, stainless steel exhaust tips, and a Porsche CDR 21 CD radio. A full engine overhaul completed in 2025 means it is ready to drive, not just display.

Why it matters: Standard Porsche 993 Turbo values average around $240,000 at auction, with exceptional examples approaching $495,000. A genuine WLS1 with this provenance competes in an entirely different tier of the rare Porsche auction market.

Estimate: €625,000-€675,000

No lot in this global icons auction generates more conversation than the 2005 Mercedes-Benz CLK DTM AMG – a car showing just 80 kilometers on the odometer.

Mercedes-Benz commissioned HWA AG and AMG to hand-build exactly 100 examples as a tribute to the marque’s 2003 DTM Championship title. The hand-assembled 5.4L supercharged V8 produces 582 horsepower, enabling 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds and a limited 200 mph top speed. When new, it was a genuine rival to the Ferrari Enzo and Porsche Carrera GT.

This example – finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic with AMG bucket seats – is among the most pristine CLK DTM AMG for sale anywhere in the world. The CLK DTM AMG auction market has produced results ranging from $301,000 to $720,000 depending on mileage and condition. At 80 km, this car is in a class of one.

Estimate: €130,000-€160,000

For Japanese performance car collectors, the 1994 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II N1 is the undisputed highlight of the Broad Arrow Spring auction.

The Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R – widely nicknamed Godzilla – dominated Group A touring car racing thanks to its all-wheel-drive platform, ATTESA E-TS traction control, and legendary RB26DETT twin-turbo inline-six. The V-Spec II N1 was the most hardcore street-legal variant, and only 63 were ever produced.

This Crystal White example wears its original engine with factory-upgraded turbochargers and an A’PEXi RS Evolution exhaust. As the Nissan Skyline GT-R R33 continues to rise on Hagerty’s Bull Market List – driven by 1990s nostalgia and generational collector demand – the N1 variant represents one of the highest-ceiling entries in the entire GT-R lineage.

Collector Car Market Context: Why This Auction Matters in 2026

The 2026 collector car auction market has entered a more selective phase. While the broad market has softened since the post-COVID boom, ultra-rare variants with low mileage, documented provenance, and cultural relevance continue to command strong premiums.

All three of the featured lots – the WLS1, CLK DTM AMG, and R33 N1 – hit every criterion that today’s sophisticated buyers are chasing: limited production, exceptional condition, and verifiable history.
