La Vente de Paris will bring collector cars, fine art, and luxury items back to the Grand Palais for Bonhams Paris 2027
Bonhams will hold its La Vente de Paris collector-car auction at the Grand Palais on Friday, February 5, 2027, during Salon Rétromobile 2027. The auction house is now accepting consignments for the sale, although no vehicles, estimates, or further program details have yet been announced.
The event will mark Bonhams’ return to its customary Paris setting following the temporary relocation of its 2026 sale to the Polo de Paris. That auction took place on January 30, 2026, during the French capital’s annual Rétromobile week.
Return to an Icon
Located in central Paris near the Champs-Élysées, the Grand Palais provides one of the most recognizable settings on the European auction calendar. Built for the 1900 World’s Fair, the historic exhibition complex is distinguished by its combination of stone, steel, and glass, including its monumental glazed roof.
The venue also holds an established place in Bonhams’ Paris auction history. The company staged its first collector-vehicle sale there in 2011 and subsequently returned for further auctions, making the building closely associated with its presence during Paris’s early-season collector-car events.
Rétromobile Presence
In addition to the cars offered at the Bonhams Grand Palais auction, the company plans to display collector vehicles inside the Salon Rétromobile exhibition halls. The arrangement will give show visitors a separate opportunity to encounter Bonhams consignments during the wider event.
Michael Squire, Bonhams’ Head of European Sales, described Salon Rétromobile as “one of Europe’s pinnacle classic car shows” and said the auction house was pleased to return to its usual Grand Palais home. He added that Bonhams looked forward to welcoming Rétromobile attendees to the sale.
Cars, Art and Luxury
La Vente de Paris will extend beyond automobiles. Bonhams Europe will present fine art and luxury items alongside the classic and collector cars, continuing the multidisciplinary format previously used by the auction house for its Paris sales.
Salon Rétromobile has served as a gathering point for vintage-vehicle collectors and enthusiasts for nearly 50 years. Its mix of manufacturers, clubs, restorers, dealers, artists, and automotive-history exhibits has helped establish the show as an important opening fixture in the European collector-car season.

Bonhams is inviting entries for the February 2027 sale, positioning the announcement as an early call to prospective consignors planning around the major classic car auctions in Paris. Details of the catalogue are expected to emerge as the sale approaches.
