Barrett-Jackson Columbus Auction Results: $38.1 Million and 100% Sell-Through

Barrett-Jackson’s inaugural Columbus Auction delivered a landmark debut for the collector car hobby in the Midwest, generating $38.1 million in total sales with a 100% sell-through rate across all 550 vehicles on the docket.

Barrett-Jackson Ohio Results at a Glance

The three-day Barrett-Jackson Columbus auction ran June 25-27, 2026, at the Ohio Expo Center & State Fairgrounds, drawing more than 60,000 attendees. Vehicle sales alone surpassed $37 million, with an additional $1.1 million generated from 255 pieces of automobilia sold at no reserve. The event marked the first time Barrett-Jackson has held an auction in the Midwest.

Three Cars Cross the $1 Million Mark

Three vehicles at the Barrett-Jackson Columbus auction hammered at seven figures, led by a 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder that claimed top-sale honors at $2,695,000.

  • 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder – $2,695,000
The Porsche 918 Spyder is one of only 918 examples ever built, pairing a naturally aspirated V-8 with two electric motors for a combined output of 887 horsepower. Porsche rated the hybrid hypercar at 0-60 mph in approximately 2.6 seconds with a top speed exceeding 210 mph – and it was the first production car to lap the Nürburgring in under seven minutes. Sold with no reserve, it was the undisputed star of “Super Saturday.”
  • 2021 Ford GT ’66 Heritage Edition – $1,100,000
The first car to crack the million-dollar mark at the Columbus auction, this Ford GT ’66 Heritage Edition is powered by a twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 producing 660 horsepower, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The ’66 Heritage Edition livery pays tribute to Ford’s iconic 1966 Le Mans victory, one of four consecutive wins that cemented the GT40’s legend. It also sold at no reserve.
  • 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 – $1,045,000
This matching-numbers, unrestored survivor Boss 429 – documented as KK No. 1412 – finished in original Candy Apple Red and retains its original drivetrain and factory components throughout. The hammer price of $1,045,000 set a new world auction record for the Boss 429 nameplate. Barrett-Jackson CEO Craig Jackson called it one of the auction’s defining moments.

Ford GT Fever Sweeps Columbus

Beyond the million dollar Ford GT, a 2022 Ford GT sold for $913,000 and a 2021 Ford GT Studio Collection Series Edition brought $863,500 – meaning a trio of modern Ford GTs combined for more than $2.8 million on Super Saturday alone.

Other Notable Collector Car Sales

The Barrett-Jackson Columbus auction also produced impressive results across muscle cars, exotics, and customs. Highlights included:

Charity Sales Raise $240,000

Two charity vehicles added to the feel-good story at the Barrett-Jackson Columbus auction. A custom 2022 Ford Bronco built with NFL quarterback Joe Burrow sold for $90,000, with all proceeds going to the Joe Burrow Foundation. A bespoke 2025 Chevrolet Silverado Anduril Edition hammered at $150,000 for the Call of Duty Endowment, bringing Barrett-Jackson’s all-time charity total to more than $172 million.

Automobilia Tops $1.1 Million

The automobilia at the Barrett-Jackson’s Columbus auction also delivered strong results, led by a rare 1920s Standard Gold Crown Fry “Mae West” visible gas pump that sold for $138,000. A late-1950s Texaco Oil porcelain sign with animated neon realized $44,850, and a 1928 Sinclair Oil gas pump brought $34,500.

What's Next for Barrett-Jackson

After writing a new chapter in Columbus, Barrett-Jackson has already confirmed it will return to Ohio in 2027. The next stop on the 2026 calendar is the Las Vegas Auction, scheduled for September 10-12 at the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
