Factory Fresh Collection Offered by RM Sotheby’s in London

Single Owner Factory Fresh Collection Announced by RM Sotheby's

RM Sotheby’s announced the addition of The Factory Fresh Collection to their upcoming London sale scheduled for November 4, 2023. The Factory Fresh Collection is an assortment of 20 cars including Ferraris, Jaguars, and a unique Bentley. The majority of the cars in this collection show fewer than 300 miles since new.

It’s a single-owner collection from Singapore, owned by a former official Ferrari importer for that region and covers 41 years. Most of the cars being offered as part of the Factory Fresh Collection have never been registered for use on the road, providing a very rare opportunity for collectors looking for like-new classics.

One of the most exciting cars offered from the Factory Fresh Collection is a 1993 Jaguar XJ220 that’s covered just 46 miles since new. It was mechanically refreshed by Don Law, noted XJ220 specialist so it should be good to go for its next owner. RM Sotheby’s estimates it will sell for £375,000 – £425,000.

The rarest car in the collection is a 1991 Bentley Turbo R Drophead Coupé that is one of only two two-door versions ever built. It was the result of a collaboration between Bentley and Pininfarina. The other example was delivered to Brunei. This one recently underwent some work by P&A Wood totaling £75,000 that restored it to showroom condition.

The absolute highlight of the Factory Fresh Collection is a 1994 Ferrari 512 TR Spider that is one of only three 512 TR Spiders built for the 1994 model year. It’s the only 512 TR Spider finished in Blu Cobalto with Blu Scuro Connolly leather interior. It was displayed at Ferrari’s 70th Anniversary in 1997 and shows only 570 km since new. Thanks to the low mileage and single ownership it’s still powered by its numbers-matching 5.0L flat-12 cylinder engine. RM Sotheby’s estimates this unique Ferrari will sell for £2,100,000 – £2,700,000.
