Ferrari F355 Spider Auction Hits $137,000

Ferrari F355 Spider

The Ferrari F355, produced from 1994 to 1999, followed up the 348 and was a significant improvement over its predecessor. Its engine displacement increased from 3.4L to 3.5L and a fifth valve was added. This created a significant increase in horsepower compared to the 348. The previous model only had 276 HP while the new engine provided the F355 with 375 HP.

Body work changes updated the look of the F355 and the combined package contributed to strong sales. A total of 11,273 were produced during the model run. Of those, only 3,717 were Spiders as seen here. And only 2,664 of those were equipped with the 6-speed manual transmission. It was capable of running from 0 to 60 MPH in just 4.5 seconds and had a top speed of 170 MPH.

As mentioned, the 1995 Ferrari F355 Spider seen here features a 6-speed manual transmission and shows just over 43,000 miles. Finished in Verde Inglese paint with a Tan convertible top over a Beige leather interior. An original US car, it is accompanied by tools, service records, and a clean Carfax.

The V8 was overhauled in the past few years and the nose, rocker panels and wheel arches have been repainted. We love the color combination of this car and appreciate the recent engine overhaul.

When the bids finally settled and the dust cleared, and that countdown stopped resetting, this 1995 Ferrari F355 Spider sold for an impressive $137,000. Well-sold!
