Mecum Expands Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction

Mecum Adds 5th Day to Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction

Mecum announced that they are expanding their Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction to span five days and is estimated to feature 2,000 bikes. The 32nd Annual Vintage & Antique Motorcycle Auction will be held at South Point Hotel & Casino January 24-28 and will include bikes from 15 individual collections.

A collection offered from Mike Wolfe of “American Pickers” consists of more than 60 motorcycles, mainly original and unaltered Harley-Davidsons and Indian bikes, all of which will be offered with no reserve.

Another notable collection to be offered by Mecum is that of Jim Godwin, a one-time Harley-Davidson dealer and creator of Jim’s Forever Museum, a showcase of some of the best bikes built by Harley-Davidson. More than 100 motorcycles will be offered from his collection, all of which will be with no reserve.

Bavarian enthusiasts should be able to find something to their liking as well with the addition of the BMW Centennial Selection from the Black Forest Collection, an offering of 10 bikes. Eight of those were restored by the owner of the collection. The offering includes a very rare 1925 BMW R37 in extremely original condition as well as a 1926 BMW R42 that may be the earliest example of that model in existence.

Mecum is still accepting consignments for their 2023 Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction so we may see some exciting surprises as the auction approaches.
