Broad Arrow Porsche Auction Hits $20 Million
Broad Arrow Auctions delivered its strongest Air|Water performance yet on April 25, 2026, realizing $20 million in total sales at its third annual Porsche Air|Water Auction – a single-marque, single-day sale held at The OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, California.
The 2026 Porsche auction achieved an 84 percent sell-through rate, with 70 of 83 lots sold and nearly 50 percent of all registered bidders participating for the first time. The results confirm that demand for bespoke, highly optioned, and limited-production Porsches remains exceptionally strong in the current collector car market.
A Record-Breaking Event for Broad Arrow
Broad Arrow Auctions partnered once again with Air|Water – the celebrated West Coast Porsche gathering from the creators of Luftgekühlt – to offer nearly every evolution of the Porsche 911, along with the legendary 918 Spyder hypercar. A well-attended preview on April 24 set the stage for an energetic sale room the following afternoon, with auctioneer Thomas Forrester presiding over multiple heated bidding battles.
“This was our best Air|Water Auction yet, with a catalog of cars that included some very special, incredibly optioned cars,” said Alexander Weaver, Vice President and Senior Car Specialist for Broad Arrow. “It was once again the hard-to-find, bespoke, and highly optioned modern Porsches that topped the sale, indicative of overall market trends and of the quality of the offering.”
Top Lot: 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder Weissach Package - $4,680,000
The sale-topping result of the Broad Arrow Porsche auction went to Lot 256 – a 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder equipped with the weight-saving Weissach Package. Finished in Paint to Sample Riviera Blue, it is the singular PTS Riviera Blue 918 Spyder Weissach delivered to North America, fitted with a Black interior with Silver piping and offered with just 1,267 miles. Fierce phone bidding pushed the final price to $4,680,000, cementing the 918’s status as one of the most coveted hypercars in the modern collector market.
2025 RUF SCR - $2,095,000
The second-highest result of the 2026 Porsche auction went to an extraordinary 2025 RUF SCR, a ground-up RUF design that drew back-and-forth competition between two in-room bidders before selling for $2,095,000. Chassis 06025 was finished in Paint to Sample Türkisblau (Turkish Blue) and offered with delivery miles only. The result underscores the growing market recognition of RUF Automobile as a serious collector marque in its own right.
Two Singer-Reimagined 911s Cross the Million-Dollar Mark
The 2026 Air|Water sale also featured a pair of stunning Porsche 911s Reimagined by Singer, both of which surpassed the million-dollar threshold – a clear indicator of sustained collector appetite for Singer’s bespoke commissions.
The 1992 Porsche 911 Targa Reimagined by Singer “Rio Commission” (Lot 248) realized $1,160,000, finished in Paint to Sample Bespoke Green over an interior trimmed in Burgundy and Sunset Orange leather with striking 18-karat gold detailing throughout. The 1990 Porsche 911 Coupe Reimagined by Singer “Lindsey Commission” (Lot 212) sold for $1,022,500, showcasing Singer’s refined restraint with a custom Light Ivory exterior, Cumin leather interior, and Nickel-finished trim with quilted leather details. Together, the two Singer commissions contributed $2,182,500 to the sale total, highlighting how the company’s hand-built restorations continue to command outsized premiums in the Porsche collector market.
Strong Results Throughout the Catalog
Beyond the four million-dollar cars, the Broad Arrow Porsche auction delivered impressive results across the broader catalog. A 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 (Lot 222) narrowly missed the seven-figure mark, selling for $995,000, while a 2016 Porsche 911 R (Lot 228) brought $747,500. A rare 1998 Porsche 911 Turbo S WLS2 – one of only 160 RoW examples fitted with the 450-horsepower XLC WLS2 Power Kit – exceeded its pre-sale estimate to close at $681,500.
The Power Kit-equipped 993- and 964-generation 911s proved to be a consistent theme throughout the auction, with all WLS and WLS2 examples commanding extended bidding battles before finding new owners.
