Gooding Christie’s Now Official Rétromobile Auction

Gooding Christie's Announced as Rétromobile Auction Partner

Following on from their record-setting sale in Amelia Island as well as the sale of Gooding & Company to Christie’s, the auction house recently announced a partnership with Rétromobile that will see Gooding Christie’s as the new official auction of the legendary Paris event.

In addition to holding an auction at the 50th edition of Rétromobile January 28 through February 1, 2026 in Paris, Gooding Christie’s is also set to hold another auction at the inaugural New York edition of Rétromobile. The new New York-based event will be held at the Javits Center in November 19 – 22, 2026.

Significantly, this new partnership represents the first new international auction event to be held by Gooding Christie’s after the acquisition that occurred last year. This also marks a notable change from previous installments of Rétromobile at which Artcurial was the official auction.

Dating back to 1976, Rétromobile has thoroughly earned its reputation as one of the most significant collector cars events across all of Europe. Enthusiasts across all of North America are eagerly anticipating the first edition of Rétromobile in New York. Tickets are not yet available for either of the 2026 editions of Rétromobile, but we will share once they are available for purchase.
